Job description: Reaching New Heights is a pediatric therapy clinic providing ABA, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy, as well as center-based school programs (preschool and school age). Reaching New Heights provides services in an interdisciplinary center and has a strong collaborative culture where the children are always put first. The ABA department is rapidly growing, and there is a need to increase supervisory presence due to this growth. The Clinical Supervisor will work closely with the ABA Director and Lead RBT, as well as the rest of the ABA department to ensure that the clients are receiving the highest quality services possible. Clinical skills are critically important, as well as interpersonal skills, organization, and management skills.
Qualifications
· Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and current Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst (COBA) certification
· Strong interpersonal skills, including communication, providing feedback to coworkers,
· Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities
· Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
· Familiarity with special education laws and regulations
· Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Responsibilities
· Oversee the day-to-day workflows for BCBAs and RBTs at the center
· Ensure employee job satisfaction to prevent burnout and turnover
· Provide support for BCBAs and RBTs as needed
· Conduct fidelity checks to ensure clinicians are performing satisfactorily
· Manage a small caseload of clients, including assessments, FBAs, BIPs, treatment plans, RBT supervision, parent training
· Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development
· Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and intervention specialists, to ensure a cohesive approach to intervention
· Planning and delivering monthly professional development for the department
· Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and other team members on behavior management techniques and strategies
· Maintain open communication with the ABA Director and Lead RBT
· Provide supervision to BCBA candidates and training for newly hired RBTs/BTs
· Responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our ABA Department including coordinating patient care, staff education, clinical decision making, and quality assurance.
*Salary plus quarterly bonuses.
