Job Summary :
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. This hands-on role is crucial for maintaining smooth warehouse operations, managing customer interactions, inventory, and supporting various operational tasks. Key Responsibilities :
Warehouse and Inventory Management
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently (forklift certification with 3 years of experience required).
Load and unload trucks as needed, especially during busy periods or when other staff are unavailable.
Use our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure inventory accuracy.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in reordering when necessary.
Book Less-than-Truckload (LTL) and Full Truckload (FTL) shipments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Customer Service and Communication
Respond to customer emails, phone calls, and chats to provide exceptional service and support.
Resolve order-related issues and provide product information as needed.
Process Improvement
Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to optimize productivity and accuracy.
Occasional IT and Operations Support
Set up network printers, troubleshoot computer issues, and provide light IT support.
Assist with packing and shipping orders during periods of high demand or if staffing levels require additional help.
Qualifications :
Proficiency with computers, scanners, and printers, with the ability to troubleshoot issues.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Forklift certification with a minimum of 3 years of forklift operating experience.
Ability to lift boxes up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
Strong multitasking abilities and a willingness to take on a range of responsibilities.
Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
Optional Bonus Skills :
Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, and Walmart.com.
