We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Purchasing team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Research and problem solve purchase order discrepancies and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Track deliveries of purchase orders and follow up on any delays
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchasing activities
- Manage product returns efficiently and accurately
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
- Provide other administrative support to the Purchasing Dept. as needed
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of Excel and PowerBi preferred but willing to train the right person
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively
- Collaborative team player
- High school diploma or equivalent
