Reading Country Club is being restored to legendary status. We are looking to hire a team of bar backs, food runners and bussers that have a passion to learn the hospitality industry. The most successful servers and bartenders started as barbacks, food runners and bussers. This is your opportunity make your mark by helping us reopen our beautiful restaurant and banquet facilities.
As a barback, food runner and busser, you will work with the service staff and bartenders in a variety of rolls including: Stocking liquor and connecting kegs, clearing and resetting guest tables of dishes and glassware, running trash (on a cool golf cart!) and interacting with guests in a fun, upscale casaual dining environment. You may be a food runner one day, a busser another day and then a barback on another day. There is also the opportunity to work in our banquet department in our beautiful event facility. If you enjoy working on a variety of different tasks in a fun, teamwork oriented environment, then this job will suit you.
We are hiring and training now with no experience necessary.
Pay and Benefits
Hourly pay starts at $12 per hour plus tips.
For full time positions, we offer a health, dental and eye care plan for individual, spouse and family. Deductions for employees payment portion for this plan will be shared with potential candidates as part of their decision to accept any offered position.
- Requirements:
- Runner/Busser must be 16 years or older, Bar Back must be 18 or older
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Lift heavy objects 40lbs (think cases of beer up and down steps)
- Must be willing to hustle with the rest of the team
- Must be willing to provide guests with elevated service, going out of your way to smile, greet, engage and help guests with whatever they need.
