We are seeking a talented Medical Receptionist to join our team. Reading Nephrology is a kidney specialist practice, committed to the utmost care for our patients. Only applicants who share the same commitment will be considered.
- Greet, register and check patients in and out
- Verify insurance, collect copays and process payments
- Experience with insurance billing and familiar with electronic medical record system
- Confirms and schedules appointments
- Answers telephone calls promptly and courteously
- Verify insurance eligibility of patients for all appointments and procedures prior to appointment or procedure
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Knowledge of MS Word and Outlook
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize/expedite tasks upon request
- Must have excellent organizational and time management skills while being attentive to details
- Must display motivation, have a strong work ethic and be a team player
- Open and/or closes office and reception areas when scheduled
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a hospital, clinic or doctor's office
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
