Reading Advanced Machining is seeking a 1st shift Finishing and Assembly Operator to setup and operate pneumatic, electric, or hand tools to provide comestically acceptable and quality products to our customers. The Finishing and Assembly Operator will provide visual inspection, assembly, deburring, sandblasting, polishing, washing, packing, tumbling, and other various finishing applications.
A qualified Finishing and Assembly Operator candidates will have:
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)
- Attention to detail
- Understanding of production procedures
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
