Key Responsibilities:
- Group Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement innovative group sales initiatives to meet and exceed department revenue goals. Identify new opportunities to attract diverse groups to Reading Royals games and events.
- Suite & Party Area Sales: Oversee the sales of all suites and party areas, including Ice Box Suites, Owner's Suite, and Goal Line Suite. Work closely with clients to ensure a seamless booking and game-day experience.
- Group Sales Renewals: Manage and execute the group sales renewal process, ensuring high retention rates by maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and providing exceptional service.
- Training & Mentorship: Train and mentor sales interns on group sales best practices, customer service, and CRM utilization. Provide ongoing support and guidance to help them succeed in their roles.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with group leaders, organizations, and community partners. Act as the primary point of contact for group sales inquiries and ensure consistent communication.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Ticketing and the rest of the sales team to align group sales strategies with overall ticketing and revenue goals. Collaborate with marketing and game operations teams to create promotional materials and enhance the group sales experience.
- Reporting & Analysis: Track and report on group sales performance, identifying trends and opportunities for growth. Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and ensure data integrity.
- Projections: Create and manage group sales projections, regularly analyzing performance against targets and adjusting strategies as needed to achieve revenue goals.
- Ticketing Platforms: Utilize FEVO and Ticketmaster Archtics to manage and track group sales, ensuring seamless ticketing processes and accurate reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sports management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sports ticket sales, group sales, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to train and motivate others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in CRM software and ticketing platforms, including FEVO and Ticketmaster Archtics.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
