Housekeeping

Job Summary: Cleans and maintains all public areas, back of the house areas (lower floor and garbage room) according to RTM standards

Roles and responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain assigned areas
• Able to provide information and directions to inquiring RTM visitors
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor on duty
• Clean and sweep paper and debris off the floor
• Clean walls, stalls, shelving, doors, glass, mirrors and any surface in need of attention
• Clean and maintain cleanliness of restrooms
• Restock supplies, paper products and chemicals in work areas as needed
• Vacuum and remove trash as assigned
• Transport items from one area to another as assigned
• Mopping, dusting, cleaning ATM machines, wiping down tables, chairs, trashcans, counters, and organization of storage areas
• Prompt attention to cleaning up spills, accidents or debris
• Maintain a clean working area at all times and ensure that equipment and work materials are not left in an unsafe or unsightly manner
• Maintain knowledge of current market merchants, events, and promotions

Qualification:

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Must adhere to uniform/appearance standards
• Must be able to work well together with a variety of others and work any day of the week and any shift
• Must pass a standard background check and drug screening
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers
• Able to accept direction of Senior Leadership

Physical, mental and environmental demands:

• Must be able to maneuver in RTM Areas, up and down stairs and reach above shoulder
• Able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Able to use and operate vacuum cleaners, floor cleaning equipment, dustpans and brooms.
• Must be able to work around crowded areas
• Able to read labels on chemical bottles
• Able to stoop, bend, reach and pull around RTM common areas and restrooms
• Able to work with cleaning chemicals
• Available to work any shift, holidays and weekends
• Must be able to use and wear two-way radio while on duty
• Able to tolerate a loud and noisy environment
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Able to clean bio hazard or other potentially hazardous materials

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
