The READS Academy is a public day program providing highly specialized education and therapeutic support to students in grades PreK - 12 . Enrollment ranges from 95-120. The Program Director oversees all programming and staffing for the entire Academy with support from members of the building based administrative Team. Performance ResponsibilitiesProgrammatic DutiesProvide on-going coordination of READS Academy ProgramsCoordinate referral, intake and termination procedures for all studentsWork with LEA personnel regarding all matters pertaining to the case management of students in READS programsCoordinate IEP development and annual review process for all studentsMaintain communication with parents of students as neededEvaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for additions and changes as neededManage overall daily operations, including communication with building based administrative Team members, transportation schedule, program scheduling issues, parent communication, therapy services, materials and supplies, etc.Work with staff to ensure the curriculum is aligned with Mass.
