Ready Foods has embraced lean manufacturing as our operating philosophy. We take inspiration from the Toyota Production System and the principles first elucidated by Shigeo Shingo and Taiichi Ohno.
The Food Safety and Quality Assurance Supervisor (FSQA Supervisor) is responsible for supervising the food safety/quality assurance programs and technicians. The Supervisor creates a safe environment aligned with Ready Foods safety values. In addition, he/she must create a team culture that is in alignment with Ready Foods’ mission, vision and strategic plans. The position is a full-time salaried position reporting directly to the Director of Food Safety & Quality Assurance.
Essential Functions
Food Safety and Quality Excellence
Enforcing and monitoring all food safety and quality processes/procedures to ensure GFSI and regulatory compliance. Ensuring recipes are accurately followed and meet all customer requirements for food safety and quality.
Communication and Collaboration
Collaborate and Communicate with all departments to ensure participation and escalation of concerns in daily, weekly and monthly meetings.
Program Management
Drive programs that improve current state. Role model a culture of Continuous Improvement.
Lead, Manage and Hold Accountable
Lead, manage and develop QA technicians. Follow Lean principles. Ensure successful teamwork. Demonstrate and require dedication and discipline as a servant leader. Instill a culture of meeting commitments.

Following and adhering to the Ready Foods Safety programs to ensure safe operation of equipment and maintaining a safe work environment.

Required Education/Skills/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science
- Minimum of 5 years in Quality Assurance
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience
- Strong Organizational skills
- Demonstrates problem solving capabilities
- Experience with RedZone and Just Foods is a plus
