The Maintenance Technician is responsible for addressing a variety of challenges and performing associated maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment within an industrial food manufacturing facility. The position is more of an industrial maintenance technician that will self-perform or assist other technicians with advanced repairs throughout the campus. The role works under minimal supervision and some contact with external suppliers and customers
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Intermediate understanding of PLC's, ability to access program for troubleshooting purposes (would not be expected to program PLC's)
- Troubleshoot and repair minor pneumatic and hydraulic problems
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical pumps, motors, heaters, piping systems, water systems, and steam systems
- Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on general manufacturing equipment such as starters, start / stop stations, motors (up to 480V)
- Experienced in programable firmware, AC and DC electrical systems, analog and digital display units.
- Test performance of robotic assemblies
- Evaluate efficiency and reliability of industrial robotic systems, reprogramming calibrating to achieve maximum quantity and quality
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals and parts catalogs as necessary.
