Position Summary :
The Category Manager is responsible for championing the development and execution of short and long term segment plans that leverage consumer, culinary and customer insights, as well as future trends. The Category Manager will focus on delivering business / financial requirements, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of products which meet consumer and customer needs. In delivering upon these goals, the Category Manager will need to leverage both internal, third party and syndicated data sources to develop compelling sales stories for the customer.
What you’ll be doing :
- The Category Manager, will be responsible for developing long term strategic plans, and for translating it effectively into annual customer plans and programs. Of primary importance in these plans will be top line growth and margin improvement for the customer, category and BFA.
- Travel to customer meetings, as needed and as requested.
- A proven track record of results with a bias for action
- A passion for learning and a craving to work in a fun culture
