Position Summary :
The Sr. Manager, Supplier Compliance is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive food safety strategies across the ingredient (condiment) and packaging supply chain. This role ensures compliance with all relevant food safety regulations, including the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), for supplier processing facilities. While Agricultural Operations oversees cooler operations and Manufacturing Quality manages the four Ready Pac manufacturing facilities, this position focuses specifically on supplier food safety.
As a key member of the Corporate Quality Leadership Team, the Sr. Manager will lead several critical functions, including :
- Conducting supplier risk assessments.
- Performing supplier audits and approving new suppliers.
- Investigating Vendor Non-Compliance Reports (VNCRs) and managing corrective action follow-ups.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintaining supplier documentation within the Supplyline system.
The Sr. Manager will collaborate closely with the Supply Chain, Innovation & Development teams, and Ready Pac facility Quality Assurance teams to foster ingredient supplier improvements in food safety and quality. This role is pivotal in implementing strategies that enhance supplier programs and performance.
Additionally, the Sr. Manager of Food Safety will serve as a member of the Corporate Crisis Management Team, contributing to the organization’s preparedness and response to potential crises.
