Job Purpose and Impact
The CHW Program Developer plays a critical role in our organization. This role maintains quality, leads improvement and expansion, and supports overall spread of the RSS model. With support from the CHW Program Developer, RSS plans to dramatically increase our impact, making sure more children, parents, and school staff receive appropriate instruction and accurate information on how to care for oral health.
Key Accountabilities
- Training - Strengthen program staff : include hiring, onboarding, and providing ongoing professional development for RSS Community Health Workers.
- Quality Improvement Facilitate improvement of workflows and curricula for programs.
- Community Engagement- Develop and implement new collaborations and partnerships. Support staff in maintaining long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Program Development- lead growth of program in developing new partnerships, increasing capacity for service, and spreading the model. Includes supervising Data and Grants Manager and assisting or leading grant proposal submissions.
- Other duties as assigned
- This is an in-person position with travel up to three times a week, to partner locations around the Twin Cities. We reimburse for mileage while working.
- There are opportunities to train for and receive a Community Health Worker Certificate while in this role.
- We prioritize hiring people who are a part of the communities we serve. We work throughout the Twin Cities, primarily in low-income schools and childcare centers.
- This position could be for 4 or 5 days a week, 32 or 40 hours.
