Description :

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mulch CDL Driver Foreman to lead our crew in delivering high-quality mulching services. As a working crew leader, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. This role requires a hands-on leader with a valid CDL license and the ability to operate and maintain equipment safely. The ability to travel for up to two weeks at a time to locations such as Nashville, TN; Huntsville, AL; Atlanta, GA; Columbus, OH; and Cleveland, OH is required . Per diem reimbursement is provided during travel assignments.

Key Responsibilities :

Team Leadership : Supervise and direct crew members to complete tasks safely, efficiently, and with high-quality outcomes.
Transportation : Safely transport crew members, equipment, and materials to and from job sites while adhering to all federal, state, and company driving regulations.
Jobsite Operations : Assess work scope upon arrival, establish safety perimeters with proper PPE usage, and develop and execute efficient work plans by delegating tasks as needed.
Vehicle and Equipment Management : Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain vehicles and equipment to ensure cleanliness and functionality, and promptly report maintenance needs and damages.
Compliance and Documentation : Complete daily driver logs and vehicle inspections while ensuring compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
Additional Duties : Maintain accurate timesheets and job information, communicate with supervisors regarding job progress, challenges, and improvements, and perform cross-training while assisting other divisions as needed.

Requirements : Qualifications :

Valid Class A or Class B CDL license with experience driving mulching vehicles, hauling wide or oversized loads, and proficiency with mulching vehicles and equipment.

Must have a clean driving record.

Maintain a current DOT medical card.

Possess basic math skills and a reliable mobile communication device.

Experience in construction, landscaping, or related fields is preferred

Working Conditions and Availability Disclosure :

Flexibility and willingness to work non-standard business hours and days as needed required.

Regular exposure to both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to a wide range of weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.

Requires moderate physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently, walking, and working on uneven terrain. Potential exposure to loud noise, air pollution, allergens, dust, pollen, insects, and other naturally occurring hazards. Potential exposure to moving mechanical parts, sharp objects, and other physical hazards common to landscaping and equipment operation.
