General Laborer/ Lawn care

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess skills in landscape maintenance, including gardening, hardscaping, and lawn care. This role involves a variety of tasks that contribute to the upkeep and beautification of outdoor spaces.

Duties

• Maintain gardens by planting, weeding, and pruning as necessary.
• Perform hardscape installation and maintenance, including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Irrigate landscapes effectively to ensure optimal plant health.
• Conduct regular landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns and trimming hedges.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment safely for digging, planting, and other labor-intensive tasks.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
• Demonstrate mechanical knowledge by performing basic repairs on equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong ability to maintain gardens and lawns with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with hardscape installation techniques is a plus.
• Proficiency in using hand tools safely and effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation to job sites.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $14.00 - $14.05 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
