POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is pivotal in supporting our US Warfighters and The AbilityOne program, contributing to ReadyOne Industries' mission. The Government Contracts Compliance Administrator ensures ReadyOne Industries' adherence to all government contract requirements and regulations. This role is the specialist between the organization and its federal customers, providing guidance on compliance and contract administration. The Admin will work closely with internal teams to plan, develop, and implement policies and procedures related to government contracts while aligning these activities with the company's objectives. The role also implements initiatives to streamline contract processes and ensure continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and implement strategies that ensure operational activities align with ReadyOne's cultural behaviors of accountability, diversity, honesty, collaboration, empathy, innovation, passion, and effective communication.
• Adhere to and execute company policies and procedures while driving continuous improvement across all operational processes.
• Collaborate with the VP of Business Development to ensure compliance of all government contracts, adherence to federal regulations and contract terms.
• Under the direction of the VP of Business Development direct personnel and activities related to contract administration to ensure departmental objectives align with organizational goals.
• Under the direction of the VP of Business Development plan, develop, and implement policies, procedures, and objectives for the contract administration function, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
• Serve as the specialist for government agencies and customers regarding contracts, compliance, and related communications.
• Under the direction of the VP of Business Development provide guidance to internal teams on the management of contracts, including solicitations, statements of work, delivery orders, task orders, and modifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess potential risks, ensure accurate cost estimations, and provide recommendations for contract-related decisions.
• Monitor and report on contract performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing transparency to senior leadership.
• Support business development efforts by reviewing contract opportunities and ensuring compliance readiness.
- Adhere to government requirements regarding handling of sensitive and confidential information (example: ITAR, CUI).
• Ensure integration of technology and efficient practices into the contract administration process.
• Perform other duties as required or requested by leadership in alignment with the company’s goals.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Education: An undergraduate degree in business, legal studies, or a related field is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: Experience in contract administration, compliance, and government procurement processes, including familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) is preferred.
• Specific Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication, and proficiency in managing government contracts.
• Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: Expertise in government contract compliance, regulations, and reporting tools such as Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Knowledge of AbilityOne/ SourceAmerica program and procedures.
• Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and promote a culture of compliance and excellence.
Primarily office-based, with occasional interaction on the production floor to support contract-related initiatives.
