Quality Control Technician - Tulare Area
Readywork is hiring a Quality Control Technician to join the team in the Tulare area. The primary responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Product Testing & Inspection: Test and inspect products at various stages of the production process.
- Data Analysis: Compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain product quality.
- Result Classification: Analyze test results to classify products or compare them with required standards.
- Inventory System Management: Enter data into the inventory system to track product quality.
- Sample Preparation: Prepare product samples for testing and inspection.
- Employee & Food Safety: Monitor employee safety and food safety practices, reporting any concerns to upper management.
- Critical Control Point (CCP) Monitoring: Oversee Critical Control Points (CCPs) and Preventive Controls (PCs) reports to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Moisture Testing: Conduct tests for moisture content in products.
- Microbial Testing: Perform APC (Aerobic Plate Count) swabs to ensure microbial quality.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Wear required PPE as per job requirements to ensure safety.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
- Quality Control Knowledge: Strong understanding of quality defects, HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), CCPs, PCs, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and Food Safety standards.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of employee safety, food safety, and defense awareness protocols.
- Multi-tasking & Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to report findings and interact with team members.
