Sanitation Technicians / All Shifts

Job Summary
The Sanitation Worker plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within our facility. This position is responsible for ensuring that all areas are sanitized and meet health and safety standards, particularly in food processing and production environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning, custodial services, or industrial cleaning, and will be comfortable with heavy lifting as part of their daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough sanitation of all equipment, surfaces, and areas within the facility to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Clean and sanitize production lines, storage areas, and restrooms regularly.
• Operate cleaning equipment and tools effectively to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
• Fabricate cleaning solutions as needed for various surfaces and materials.
• Assist in the organization of warehouse spaces to promote efficiency and safety.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing additional attention or maintenance.
• Adhere to all safety protocols while performing tasks to ensure personal and team safety.

Skills

• Experience in food processing or food production environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and sanitation practices.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
• Familiarity with custodial responsibilities in an industrial setting is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitization.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
