We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assembler II to join a reputable company in Simi Valley. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality medical devices and equipment in compliance with company standards, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements. This is a Direct Hire opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble medical equipment, components, and sub-assemblies according to detailed specifications and engineering drawings.
- Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure product integrity and compliance with industry standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete assembly tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical and electrical issues during the assembly process.
- Ensure that all assemblies are completed in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of quality.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly activities, including completed work orders and material usage.
- Collaborate with other departments, including quality control, engineering, and production teams, to resolve any issues or improve processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to optimizing assembly techniques.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is a plus.
- 10 years minimum of experience in assembly, preferably in medical device or aerospace industry.
- Strong knowledge of assembly processes, hand tools, and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
