Job Description
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in environmental management. As the new Environmental Manager for our Morgantown, Kentucky location, you will provide key technical expertise and problem-solving skills to support business and operational leaders in meeting environmental regulations and requirements.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Providing technical expertise and support to business and operational leaders on environmental regulations and requirements.
- Leading the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of site environmental conformance and compliance programs.
- Maintaining knowledge of environmental regulations, consensus standards, and best practices.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- B.S. or B.A. in HSE, environmental management, or a scientific/engineering discipline, plus 8 years of experience in environmental or health, safety, and environmental management.
- Professional certification(s) in environmental management, e.g., CHMM, REM.
- Air permit experience is an absolute requirement for this role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of environmental regulations, consensus standards, and best practices, with proven success in effective implementation of compliance and control plans.
