Overview
REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production. Responsibilities
Join our Real Alloy Morgantown, KY team as the local HSE Coordinator! This position is salaried, reporting to the Enviornmental Manager.

The HSE Coordinator will support the implementation of company health, safety, and environmental programs, processes, and systems.
Responsible for:
- Activities that drive site and company safety and environmental performance to higher levels
- Focusing on improvements that will increase the level of adherence and compliance to company HSE objectives
- Ensuring the health and safety of all employees, visitors, and contractos through the adherence to HSE standards, policies, and procedures
- Managing site Worker's Compensation matters, first aid and CPR training, fit testing and other safety and health program requirements
Environmental:
- Review and help maintain the site's hazardous waste and universal waste management program
- Condcut SPCC plan inspections and reccomend improvements.
- Maintain inspection & recordkeeping requirements along with supporting Federal/State compliance requirements.
Safety:
- Conducts Safety Observations of the workforce and provides feedback to workers.
- Conduct/co-conduct safety/environmental trainings for new hires.
- Help maintain the HSE Training Matrix.
- Maintains accurate recordkeeping data as required by OSHA and company standards
- Participate in the incident investigation, cause analysis and corrective action development process.
- Track and maintain HSE KPI Metrics

Qualifications
The ideal applicant will have the following:
- BS in Engineering, Industrial Safety/Environmental, or a technically related degree or 3 years of relevant experience in an HSE role.
- Familiarity with and application of OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Ability to work across all discipline levels in a team-based organization.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, data gathering and report writing
