About You
We are looking for an experienced Environmental Manager who has a strong background in environmental management and a proven track record of effective project management, execution, and partnering skills. The ideal candidate will have:
Qualifications
- B.S. or B.A. in HSE, environmental management, or a scientific/engineering discipline, plus 8 years of experience in environmental or health, safety, and environmental management.
- Professional certification(s) in environmental management, e.g., CHMM, REM.
- Air permit experience is an absolute requirement for this role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of environmental regulations, consensus standards, and best practices, with proven success in effective implementation of compliance and control plans.
Physical Demands
The successful candidate must be able to:
- Lift 25 lbs.
- Climb ladders and walk the plant floor when at manufacturing plants on a regular basis.
- Wear mandatory PPE in plant environments (hard hat, safety eyewear, hearing protection, molten metal boots, and molten metal protective clothing as needed).
- Work in outdoor environments and/or unheated buildings for extended periods to supervise emission testing activities at manufacturing plants.
