We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workers Compensation Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team in New York City . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling plaintiff personal injury cases from inception through trial, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and courtroom advocacy.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage a caseload of workers compensation claims .
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents in preparation for court proceedings.
- Take and defend depositions of clients, witnesses, experts, and medical professionals .
- Engage in negotiations with insurance companies and defense counsel to secure favorable settlements for clients.
- Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials as needed.
- Work collaboratively with paralegals, legal assistants, and support staff to ensure timely case progression.
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients and maintain strong client relationships throughout the litigation process.
