Benefits :The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the community at all times. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of maintenance related experience including but not limited to; plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. Weekend availability and call out time on a rotating basis is required. Typical hours are Monday through Friday from 8 : 30 A.M. to 5 : 30 P.M.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Apartment make ready process for vacant units
- Completion of assigned work orders for repairs and improvements
- Appliance repairs, plumbing, electrical, some HVAC, carpentry, locks and sheet rock maintenance and repair duties
- Property and vacant unit inspections
- Use of basic hand tools and power tools
- Assist with keeping the parts and storage areas organized and secured
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks as needed
- Additional duties as assigned
- Minimum 1 year of apartment / multi-family experience
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance specific experience
- Customer service oriented
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
