What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Property Manager position at Real Estate Developer/Owner/Manager?
NYC Real estate owner and manager is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to work on-site at a rental apartment community located in Harlem.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
-Communicating with tenants,
-Coordinating repairs and maintenance with internal staff and external vendors,
-Entering/reviewing work tickets in Yardi,
-Working with maintenance and leasing to ensure apartment turns are completed and units are ready for showing/move in,
-Drafting and coordinating posting of management announcements,
-Following up on work necessary to cure building violations,
-Assisting with the coordination of community events and tenant appreciation,
-Reviewing and coding invoices related to maintenance and repair, and
-Project work related to the management and upkeep of the buildings and grounds.
The successful candidate will have the following:
-3 years of experience working on-site in a property management role.
-Experience with Yardi, or a similar building management software.
-Experience using Excel to track progress on projects and create uploads.
-Customer service experience. Personable.
-Enjoys working as part of a team. Pitches in to ensure team success.
-Excellent follow up skills.
-Stays organized. Ensures work is completed to satisfaction.
The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
