Our client, a premier multifamily property in Thorton, is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Supervisor!
Experience:
• 2-3 years multi-family maintenance supervisory experience required
• CPO Certified helpful
• Plumbing, electrical experience required.
• Previous experience with boilers is ideal
• EPA and HVAC helpful
• Valid Driver’s License, automobile and insurance is required, rotating on-call is required
• Tools are required
Duties:
The Maintenance Supervisor will supervise a crew of 2 Service personnel, including overseeing and inspecting work performed by maintenance staff. Daily responsibilities include monitoring the physical condition of the apartment community, and diagnosing and performing preventative maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Weekly, bi-weekly and emergency on-call is required
- Complete tenant service requests in a timely manner and complete appropriate follow up. Operate within budgeted guidelines.
- Enforce safety policies and regulations.
- Perform various maintenance functions including repairs to the following: electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds maintenance as dictated by state guidelines.
- Handling Vendor relationships and contracts
- Diagnose and perform maintenance / repairs on A/C and heating, electrical and plumbing systems, water and sewer lines, flooring, appliances, gas and electric boilers, walls and ceilings, security system, tile, jacuzzi, and other equipment as required
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Maintain work order system by verifying all orders are completed in a timely manner to company standards and the resident’s satisfaction.
- Inspect the property grounds, buildings, and common area amenities to maintain safety and cleanliness standards and to identify issues requiring maintenance, repair or replacement.
- Assist with property emergencies, such as snow removal and/or other inclement weather emergencies, fires, and floods.
- Responsible for the supply and upkeep of all personal tools required by the company.
