Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Senior community in Akron, Ohio. As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations, maintaining resident satisfaction, and upholding compliance with HUD and Fair Housing regulations. Duties:
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of lease agreements, rent payments, and maintenance requests
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors to coordinate repairs and maintenance projects
- Advertise available units and conduct thorough tenant screenings to ensure qualified applicants
- Enforce lease agreements and address any lease violations or disputes
- Stay updated on local rental market trends and adjust rental rates accordingly
- Assist with the administration of Section 8 housing programs and HUD compliance
Experience:
- Property management and HUD experience is required
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and legal administrative procedures
- Proficient in data entry and office software applications
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with residents, staff, and vendors
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
