RETS Associates, on behalf of our client, is seeking a Controller for a small, highly successful commercial real estate firm in Coastal Newport Beach . This is a hands-on role requiring expertise across accounting, administration, and compliance for a high end portfolio of 10 office buildings and 25 retail properties.
The Controller will manage tasks ranging from corporate accounting to property management and development, including tenant correspondence, financial reporting, funding draws, tax preparation, cash flow monitoring, and special projects. The position also oversees a long-tenured Senior Accountant and involves administrative duties like managing payroll, benefits, and software systems. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills are essential in this collaborative, boutique office setting.
This long-term opportunity arises from the retirement of a Controller after 22 years of dedicated service.
