Job Title: Part-time Production Assistant/Carpenter
Summary: We are seeking an experienced part-time Production Assistant/Carpenter to assist in various tasks at our photo studio.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with commercial photography sets in the studio and on location.
- Maintain orderliness within our warehouse of photo samples, props, and building materials.
- Perform heavy lifting, constructing walls & rooms from scratch, moving products on and off set, assembling furniture and other photo samples.
- Drive a box truck to pick up products & building materials.
- Warehouse/studio organization, inventory cataloguing, and routine maintenance duties.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word).
- Inventory management and/or product cataloging.
- Proficient in carpentry and/or construction methods.
- 2-4 years or more of related experience within a construction, contract, or contract field.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of the operation of hand and power tools.
- A project management mindset.
- Ability to estimate material amounts and costs.
- An aptitude for mechanics.
- Commitment to safety rules.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Experience:
- Project Management experience.
- Electrical experience.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
