JOB TITLE : Regional Vice President of Business Development, Georgia

LOCATION : Georgia Market

REPORTS TO : Senior Vice President of Business Development

Job Overview : As a key player in our team, the Business Development role is pivotal in driving the company's growth and bolstering our bottom line through the cultivation of both established and new partnerships. We're seeking a self-motivated professional who will take charge in identifying new business pipelines within the Georgia market while also exploring cross-market opportunities. Exceptional business and high level closing ability. Strong interpersonal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Report directly to the SVP of Business Development with weekly written updates.
  • Skillfully negotiate pricing and rebate programs.
  • Maintain consistent communication with Leadership, Teammates, Business Development Administration, and Marketing teams.
  • Drive the acquisition of new corporate-level business by proactively generating and pursuing leads throughout the sales cycle, with a strong emphasis on customer follow-up and communication.
  • Arrange and conduct business review meetings with customers, whether through calls, in-person meetings, or virtual sessions, to assess and discuss account progress.
  • Conduct thorough research into existing and potential customer opportunities by actively engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Tailor product solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
  • Provide a steady stream of qualified leads to branch General Managers and Sales Managers on a consistent basis.
  • Follow up with branches to gauge the results and growth stemming from leads.
  • Attend local association events, trade shows, dinner meetings, etc.
  • Participate in annual client conferences, trade shows, and meeting events as required.
  • Stay updated on products and pricing.
  • Create relationships with local manufacturers' representatives.
  • Be prepared for up to 25% annual travel as needed, including organizing travel arrangements.
  • Collaborate closely with EVPs, RVPs, GMs, Sales Managers, Sales Development, and BizDev teammates to establish initial corporate pricing, implement pricing changes, and incorporate other updates.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary to support the team and company goals.
  • Regularly visit branches & have strategy meetings with GM's and Sales Managers.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and negotiation skills, enabling effective engagement with clients from diverse backgrounds and education levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and / or remotely while maintaining high productivity.

  • Possesses a positive, dedicated, and approachable demeanor, fostering a welcoming environment.
  • A creative and thoughtful problem solver, consistently seeking solutions to challenges.
  • Proficiency in using Google Suite, Sheets, Docs, Excel, Word, and other internal reporting systems.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing various sales techniques, including cold calling.
  • Proven track record of successful sales achievements.
  • Ability to establish personal goals and develop strategic plans for business and revenue growth.
  • Strong organizational skills, essential for managing client needs and daily tasks effectively.
  • Thrives in a high-performance team environment, contributing to collective success.
  • Comfortable and adept at presenting in front of large audiences.
  • Extensive experience collaborating with Multifamily Regional Executive Level decision-makers and Procurement Managers preferred.
