We're seeking a self-motivated professional who will take charge in identifying new business pipelines within the Georgia market while also exploring cross-market opportunities. Essential Responsibilities :
- Report directly to the SVP of Business Development with weekly written updates.
- Skillfully negotiate pricing and rebate programs.
- Maintain consistent communication with Leadership, Teammates, Business Development Administration, and Marketing teams.
- Drive the acquisition of new corporate-level business by proactively generating and pursuing leads throughout the sales cycle, with a strong emphasis on customer follow-up and communication.
- Arrange and conduct business review meetings with customers, whether through calls, in-person meetings, or virtual sessions, to assess and discuss account progress.
- Conduct thorough research into existing and potential customer opportunities by actively engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Tailor product solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
- Provide a steady stream of qualified leads to branch General Managers and Sales Managers on a consistent basis.
- Follow up with branches to gauge the results and growth stemming from leads.
- Attend local association events, trade shows, dinner meetings, etc.
- Participate in annual client conferences, trade shows, and meeting events as required.
- Stay updated on products and pricing.
- Create relationships with local manufacturers' representatives.
- Be prepared for up to 25% annual travel as needed, including organizing travel arrangements.
- Collaborate closely with EVPs, RVPs, GMs, Sales Managers, Sales Development, and BizDev teammates to establish initial corporate pricing, implement pricing changes, and incorporate other updates.
- Perform additional duties as necessary to support the team and company goals.
- Regularly visit branches & have strategy meetings with GM's and Sales Managers.
