Athletic Director

Job Summary:

Real Life Christian Academy is seeking a Christ-centered, visionary leader to serve as Athletic Director for the 2025–26 school year. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing and developing the school’s athletic programs in alignment with our mission to educate, equip, and empower students to thrive in their faith and future.

Job Responsibilities:

• Integrate biblical principles and a Christian worldview into all athletic programs.
• Lead devotions for coaching staff and student-athletes.
• Ensure that athletic activities reflect the school’s commitment to glorifying God

through sportsmanship and conduct.

Program Development and Management

• Provide guidance and direction for all school athletic programs.
• Maintain the vision and mission for the athletics program, aligning with the

school’s mission.

• Coordinate and schedule all sporting events, practices, and use of facilities.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and athletic regulations.
• Recruit, train, and mentor coaching staff, ensuring they integrate spiritual

formation into their coaching.

• Conduct evaluations of coaches to maintain high standards of performance and

alignment with the school’s mission.

Student-Athlete Development

• Promote physical development, emotional well-being, and spiritual growth

among student-athletes.

• Encourage values such as hard work, discipline, persistence, and teamwork.
• Ensure academic eligibility and support the balance between athletics and

academics.

Administrative Duties

• Manage the athletic department budget, including purchasing equipment and

uniforms.

• Organize and arrange team photos, oversee inventory, and maintain athletic

facilities.

• Coordinate game operations, including scheduling officials and event staff.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, faculty, and the broader

community about athletic programs and events.

• To perform other duties as assigned by the Head of School.
• To support the school and its leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• A master’s Degree is preferred.

• Must be a committed follower of Jesus Christ and be willing to articulate his/her

faith.

• This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience as a leader in the field of

education.

• The successful individual will be a strong, collaborative leader with a solid work

ethic, possess a passion for teaching children, and have the ability to function as
an educational leader.

• Must be flexible and possess a clear vision of excellence in education.
• Must embrace the Mission and Core Values of Real Life Christian Academy.
