Real Life Christian Academy (RLCA) is a Christ-centered academic community dedicated to nurturing students spiritually, academically, and socially. We are currently seeking passionate Substitute Teachers to serve across all grade levels from PreK-3 through 12th grade.

Position Summary

Substitute Teachers at RLCA are responsible for maintaining a structured and supportive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Candidates must be committed Christians who model Christ-like behavior and are passionate about working with children and teens. This role requires flexibility, professionalism, and the ability to quickly adapt to classroom needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise students and maintain classroom order in accordance with school policies.
• Implement lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher.
• Take attendance and manage classroom routines effectively.
• Support student learning by providing instruction and assistance as needed.
• Communicate clearly with students and staff.
• Leave written feedback and a summary of the day for the returning teacher.
• Uphold the mission and values of Real Life Christian Academy at all times.
• Serve as a Christian role model in behavior, speech, and attitude.

Qualifications

• A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a personal and growing faith.
• Passion for working with children and youth of all ages.
• Ability to follow written lesson plans and classroom procedures.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Alignment with the Mission and Core Values of Real Life Christian Academy.
• Previous experience in education or child supervision (preferred, not required).
