Wellness Coordinator
Job Description:
The Wellness Coordinator’s role is to support Practitioner directed clinical and administrative tasks surrounding Client care. These tasks include processing prescription requests, managing patient flow, providing Practitioner prescribed Plans of Care and addressing related questions, managing Client messages, assisting with certain therapies and other clinical support needs.
General Responsibilities:
Provide and/or support select clinical therapies, as trained/qualified Process prescription requests same day or within 24 hours of visit
Successfully manage incoming and outgoing Client messages
Performance of laboratory administrative duties, ie, completing laboratory requisitions
Coordinate Practitioner’s schedule
Coordinate details of Client care with Practitioner
Keeping Practitioner on schedule – start and end appointments on time Client satisfaction is #1 priority
Prepare for day (injections, labs, pellets, etc)
Transition clients from one appointment to another smoothly
Create Superbills for visits, supplements and cash pay lab orders.
Take Vitals & Record
Schedule Follow up appointments while in visit
Provide educational info for any treatments recommended
Verify payment is accurate prior to scheduling phone appointments
Qualifications:
Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and leadership skills
Proven experience in a healthcare setting providing both clinical support and medical assistant duties
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Excellent computer skills, including EMR experience
Experience w/in the Integrative or Functional Medicine segment a plus!
Job Type: 25-30 hours per week Pay Range: $16 - $20 per hour (based on experience)
Salary : $16 - $20
