We are looking to hire an Assistant Property Manager to join our team of highly skilled professionals. This person will be hired to assist one of our most successful property managers with all aspects of managing single-family and multifamily residential units in North Seattle. The position requires in-person work at our RPA office as well as in the field, overseeing leasing, maintenance coordination, inspections, and tenant relations. You may visit up to 8 properties each day for tasks such as showings and inspections. We are looking for someone who has reliable transportation and is comfortable driving between 0 and 100 miles each day.
This position will require someone who is dedicated to a career path in property management. Must have at least six months of property management, leasing, or maintenance supervision experience.

The day to day of this position will include the following:
Leasing
- Advertising/Marketing Rentals
- Schedule and show available units to prospective residents
- Move In/Move Out Reports and Inspections
- Assemble/Write leases and send out for signing by new tenants.
- Ensure lease terms are correct and enforced.
- This position requires driving up to 100 miles per day and assisting in property showings for up to 8 properties.
Vendor Management
- Schedule and coordinate with vendors for various maintenance items
- Manage vendor proposals
- Ensure invoices are properly conducted by vendors
- Track and approve work identified in work orders and maintenance requests.
- Meet vendors on-site at properties to provide access and review maintenance issues.
Tenant Management
- Maintain communication and cordial relationship with all current and future tenants.
- Respond to questions relating to lease information, property questions, break lease information, and rent submitted by tenants.
- Respond to tenant complaints/disputes as needed.
- Send monthly billing statements to select tenants
Maintenance and Property Services
- Respond to Maintenance requests submitted by tenants and help schedule as needed.
- Visit all properties on a regular schedule.
- Ensure property services are being performed as promised, such as landscaping, fire code inspections, laundry service, etc.
- Inspect various building systems to ensure all systems are operable and up to date and code.
Admin
- Billing monthly for utilities for various properties
- Key management
- Entering credit card receipts
- Entry Board programming/maintenance
- Initial and annual reporting for MFTE/other multi-family properties
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22-$24/hr
