Job Title : Maintenance Technician

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile General Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment and systems, such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other general maintenance tasks. This position also includes being "on call" for our rental properties.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment and systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other general maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and system malfunctions, and recommend repairs or replacements as necessary.
• Perform regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify potential maintenance issues, and create reports of findings.
• Respond to emergency repair requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform basic welding, fabrication, and installation tasks as needed.
• Maintain and repair mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, and conveyors.
• Maintain records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
• Rotate between on-call technicians on a calendar basis.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or trade certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general maintenance, with a wide array of skills.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other general maintenance tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and system malfunctions, and recommend repairs or replacements as necessary.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours : No less than 40 per week
