About the Role :
In this critical role, you will oversee the accounting core of our property management operations, including overseeing Asset Management, Reporting, Compliance, and AR / AP. You will be a core organizational leader, collaborating with the other functional leaders, optimizing your team, managing your managers, and setting the course for the future growth of the firm. This is an ideal role for someone with financial acumen, a desire to overseeing a team, and an ability to collaborate on solutions in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do :
- Lead and Manage : Direct and coordinate all accounting operations, including general accounting, cost accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Strategic Analysis : Analyze records of past and present operations to identify trends, costs, revenues, and obligations, driving informed decision-making.
- System Optimization : Develop, modify, and review accounting systems and reporting methods to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Budgeting : Implement and oversee budgeting systems to control expenditures for various activities and projects.
- Financial Leadership : Engage in strategic management discussions concerning capital preservation and asset management.
- Reporting : Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Performance Monitoring : Develop and monitor budgets for properties under management, ensuring financial goals are met.
- Cash Flow Management : Maintain accurate financial records and manage cash flow effectively.
- Financial Analysis : Conduct regular financial analysis and forecasting to support decision-making.
