Purpose
The Administrative Assistant will primarily assist the Director of Human Resources in our Las Vegas corporate office. The Administrative Assistant will also occasionally assist the Owner / CEO with various administrative tasks.
Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support by performing a variety of tasks to help ensure the organization maintains compliance with applicable federal, state and local government regulations. This position is responsible for confidential and time-sensitive material while utilizing sound judgment and critical thinking to plan and accomplish goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clerical support in administration of company leave policies.
- Perform periodic audits to verify company policies and procedures are maintained.
- Work with management team members to complete various projects.
- Provide assistance with researching issues in Payroll and HR systems.
- Copy, file and forward documents as requested.
- Organize and schedule meetings and appointments.
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
- Develop and maintain a filing system.
- Order office supplies.
- Book travel arrangements.
- Submit and reconcile expense reports.
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to effectively present information to team members and management.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- High School degree or equivalent
