Barista/Cashier/Customer Service

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to assist customers with their needs and ensure a positive experience will be crucial to our success in the food service and retail industry.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with inquiries regarding products and services.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and café environment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations, promoting a safe dining experience for all customers.
• Assist in stocking shelves, managing inventory, and maintaining product displays as needed.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism, striving to resolve issues effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Experience in food safety and food handling practices is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Clover POS, is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of retail math for accurate transaction processing.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café or food service environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• A proactive attitude towards helping others and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 36 per week
