Software Developer

Location: Fort Myers, FL (Onsite, W2 Employee)
Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:30 am – 5:00 pm) with the option to work a hybrid schedule (three days in the office M-W-F and two days remote T-TH) after the initial training period.

Job Description:
Real Res, a leading provider of Municipal Lien Searches and HOA Estoppel Searches nationwide, is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, building, testing, and deploying software applications. Your expertise in C#, HTML, jQuery, and JSON will be crucial in developing critical products for our clients and providing excellent technical support. Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree or equivalent technical training.
• 4-8 years of software development experience utilizing Microsoft technology.
• Experience with C#, HTML, jQuery, JSON, and Ajax.
• Familiarity with MS Azure infrastructure and networking concepts is a plus.

Essential Duties:

• Analyze requirements, perform functional design, and code features to enhance product capabilities, security, performance, and market position.
• Work with a system stack comprised of ASP.NET (C#), MS SQL Server, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and DevExpress toolkit.
• Conduct software testing and quality checks to ensure an error-free and functional final product across multiple browsers.
• Create and maintain secure IIS ASP.NET-based websites and related web applications.
• Test applications and websites on different web browsers to ensure a standard user experience for clients across all platforms.
• Develop and maintain back-end database structures, including tables, queries, and stored procedures, for web applications.
• Recommend improvements to existing software as necessary.
• Assist with the migration of an on-premise server environment to the Azure cloud.
• Investigate and propose new technologies to keep the software platform modern and robust.
• Participate in requirements, design, and product discussions.
• Interface with various internal groups, including support, marketing, product, and senior leadership.

Skills and Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of IIS, ASP.NET framework, C#, and MS SQL.
• Strong knowledge of database tables, queries, stored procedures, and indexes.
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML across major browsers (IE, Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.).
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills to rapidly determine root causes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills related to coding, development, and testing phases.
• Familiarity with source control, team-oriented development, and release deployment.
• Flexible and effective in working closely with business stakeholders in an agile-like work setting.
• Ability to interface with business partners and customers as needed.
• Ability to work from home.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Azure and migrating on-premise software to the cloud is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevExpress toolkit and UX design tools is a plus.
• Real estate, title industry, and/or title software experience preferred.
