The detailoriented candidate will interact with internal partners including the warehouse purchasing sales and customer service to understand the product structure GL structure and impact of transactions on the business financials and record keeping. Start date : ASAP Work hours : 9am 5 : 30pm Brand : Essilor / Optisource Budgeted Bill Rate and or PAY Rates : $36 (flexible w / experience) 7 YEAR CRIMINAL BACKGROUND REQUIRED Temp only position or Temp to perm : Temp to perm Length of assignment : Minimum of 6 months Location Address : 40 Sawgrass Drive Bellport NY 11713 Remote or Onsite : Onsite workplace only Specific Skills Needed : Top 35 mandatory and / or minimum requirements 2 years of experience in Production inventory and Production planning in a manufacturing environment Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision Strong communication skills Excellent ability to multitask and prioritize Strong written and oral communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Software applications such as Excel Access PowerPoint and Word Top 35 desirable attributes / qualifications Bachelors Degree in Business or equivalent APICS CPIM and / or CPM certification Required levels / Years of Experience education discuss whether there is flexibility There is some flexibility in the qualifications for example a college student studying Supply Chain or Business may be a good candidate. This demand of resources was initially expected to be temporary during transition however now it is evident that this workload will continue indefinitely to support the systemic operational solution to support business. The time allocated to these tasks is causing delays in providing a satisfactory service level to our customers. This additional workload requires a person with a background in Inventory Control and Production planning in a manufacturing environment and there are no current employees with these qualifications available to reassign to the department.
