What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analytical Lab Technician position at Real Staffing?
We have a current opportunity for a Analytical Lab Technician on a temporary basis. The position will be based in Plymouth. For further information about this position please apply.
Qualifications:
- To provide laboratory supervision including, but not limited to, oversight of
- Biochemical tests such as Total Organic Carbon (TOC), protein and carbohydrate quantitation, as well as water quality monitoring, e.g. TOC, bacterial content etc.
- Engineering and electrical testing including fatigue, stress, torque, tensile and stiffness tests as well as HF-18 required electrical safety testing
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to perform in a team environment as well as demonstrate personal leadership and behaviors supportive of team interactions are necessary
- Must have good computer and communication skills (both written and verbal
- Strict attention to detail and follow-up skills are essential as well as being able to keep an accurate notebook according to guidelines
- The position exercises independent decision making in the application of scientific principles.
- Perform FDA required medical device validation testing, both functional and cleaning
- Perform new equipment IQ, OQ and PQ
- Perform routine laboratory testing, e.g. pH, conductivity and material testing
- Other responsibilities may be assigned & not all responsibilities listed may be assigned
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
