Responsibilities
- Client Services : Day-to-day communications support; coordinate a diverse roster of health industry client accounts and / or sub-projects.
- Project Management : Manage multiple projects, including task and deadline tracking, for multiple clients from concept to completion.
- Writing : Write and edit complex health communications materials, media materials, collateral, and other client-facing deliverables.
- Media Relations : Build and maintain press lists; build relationships with health care reporters, editors, producers, bloggers, and other media professionals.
- Pitch Creation : Assist with media outreach strategies, including creating and executing newsworthy and complex pitches.
- Knowledge : Maintain knowledge of health care issues, evolving health policy, and political issues that impact clients' businesses.
- Social / Digital Work : Demonstrate an understanding and contribute to digital & social media platforms and their influence on strategic goals.
- Business Development : Help with the agency's new business process.
