Open to candidates with PR agency experience or PR in house experience. (With a preference towards agency)
Responsibilities:
- Work as the primary person on 1 blue chip alternative assets client who has multiple lines
- Build a deep and rich relationship with the client, serving as a true consultant and advisor
- Manage 4 direct reports
- Be a leader who can motivate junior employees to achieve
- Be a team player and be willing to roll up your sleeves and assist where needed, since everyone in this small and tight nit agency works as a team
- Media relations
- BD is not a requirement/expected for the position, though it is always welcome!
Requirements:
- 15 years of Financial Services PR experience
- Travel into the office 2X a week and not live too far away
- Management experience
- Highly experienced in media relations
- Especially welcome: alterative assets and/or private markets experience (private equity, hedge funds, commodities, venture capital, cryptocurrency, managed futures, banking & including consumer banking, private debt)
