Our client is a leader in sustainability and innovation, setting benchmarks in their industry. We are seeking a lead planner / scheduler to oversee planning and scheduling functions for major capital projects in the Life Sciences and Industrial Manufacturing sectors.
This high-visibility, client-facing role is crucial to driving project success through strategic planning, team management, and fostering robust client relationships. You’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Leadership : Drive the delivery of planning and scheduling assignments across life sciences and industrial manufacturing projects.
- Strategic Planning : Align project schedules with business goals to achieve on-time, within-scope delivery.
- Schedule Development : Oversee the creation and optimization of project schedules, ensuring all phases from tender to execution are effectively planned.
- Risk Mitigation : Identify and address scheduling risks using a robust scheduling framework.
- Data Analysis : Interpret scheduling data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Client Engagement : Serve as the primary point of contact with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to align objectives and timelines.
- Collaboration : Partner with senior leadership to drive successful project outcomes.
- Team Development : Mentor and manage the scheduling team to foster growth and collaboration.
- Project Execution : Monitor and enhance team performance to ensure successful delivery of complex, multi-phase projects.
- Governance and Metrics : Implement performance metrics (KPIs) and governance to drive effective project execution.
- Continuous Improvement : Promote innovations that improve the quality and timeliness of project delivery.
