Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of complex mechanical systems and components.
- Utilize advanced simulation tools (FEA, CFD) to validate and refine designs for performance, durability, and efficiency.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers.
- Oversee prototype development, testing, and iterative improvements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Drive innovation by identifying and implementing emerging technologies and materials.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in mechanical design, analysis, and product development.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of material properties, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
- Experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis for precision engineering.
- Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills (Highly Desirable):
- Expertise in robotics, mechatronics, aerospace, or advanced thermal management systems.
- Knowledge of additive manufacturing and novel fabrication techniques.
- Experience working with high-performance composite materials.
- Familiarity with automation, control systems, or AI-driven mechanical design.
