We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Analysis Engineer to perform stress, thermal, and vibration analysis on complex mechanical systems. This role involves utilizing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software , verifying results through hand calculations, and ensuring the integrity of aerospace and high-performance mechanical components. The ideal candidate will have aerospace industry experience and a strong understanding of structural mechanics, material properties, and dynamic loads.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct FEA simulations (ANSYS) to evaluate structural, modal, thermal, and fatigue performance.
- Perform hand calculations to validate stress analysis and verify model accuracy.
- Apply industry standards for evaluating flanged joints, crack propagation, bolted connections, and dynamic loading conditions (NASA, ASME, MIL-SPEC).
- Work with 3D CAD software (Creo preferred) and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
- Provide design recommendations based on analysis results to improve structural efficiency and reliability.
- Generate comprehensive technical reports documenting findings, methodologies, and recommendations.
- Present analysis findings to engineering teams, leadership, and external stakeholders .
- Collaborate daily with valves, actuators, tubing, pressurized components, and aerospace hardware .
- Support the Chief Engineer on ad-hoc projects and advanced structural analysis tasks .
