We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Analysis Engineer to perform stress, thermal, and vibration analysis on complex mechanical systems. This role involves utilizing FEA software, verifying results through hand calculations, and ensuring the integrity of aerospace and high-performance mechanical components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct FEA simulations (ANSYS) to evaluate structural, modal, thermal, and fatigue performance.
- Perform hand calculations to validate stress analysis and verify model accuracy.
- Apply industry standards for evaluating flanged joints, crack propagation, bolted connections, and dynamic loading conditions (NASA, ASME, MIL-SPEC).
- Work with 3D CAD software (Creo preferred) and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
- Provide design recommendations based on analysis results to improve structural efficiency and reliability.
- Generate comprehensive technical reports documenting findings, methodologies, and recommendations.
- Presentation skills required to present analysis findings to engineering teams, leadership, and external stakeholders.
