Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to coordinate with stakeholders will contribute to the smooth execution of supporting activities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Mail Handling and Processing: Receive and process all incoming mail, including lender packages, business correspondence, funds, and returned mail.
- Sort and organize documents for efficient processing and retrieval.
- Scan closing packages and ensure accurate digital copies for record-keeping.
- Repackage lender documents as needed, ensuring all required documents are included and properly organized.
- Make daily trips to the UPS store and USPS for package drop-offs by cutoff time.
- Create UPS and USPS shipping labels for outgoing packages and ensure timely dispatch.
- Mail out completed policies to appropriate recipients.
- Maintain an organized workspace to ensure quick access to documents.
- File and store documents in a systematic manner to ensure proper records management.
- Review original loan documents, including deeds, mortgages, and other related paperwork, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Verify that all documents are in compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in legal studies or real estate preferred.
- Previous experience in post-closing, loan processing, or title work.
- Familiarity with legal documents related to real estate transactions.
- Knowledge of recording requirements and regulations.
- Proficient in using document management systems and Google Suite.
