We are currently hiring for a Forklift Operator who will be responsible for:
Responsibilities:
- Safely move products/packages throughout our warehouse.
- Securing loads to the machine before transportation.
- Loading/Unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places.
- Locating and moving products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
- Identifying damages, report shortages, and quality deficiencies.
- Transporting materials to production workstations.
- Inspecting machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
- Keeping updated records of inventory and activity logs.
- Complying with company policies and legal guidelines
- Scheduling vehicles for maintenance and repairs.
- Helping maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
Requirements:
- Have strong experience with double pallet jacks, standup dock trucks and reach trucks.
- Candidates MUST be comfortable working in < 0°F environment
- High attention to detail.
- Willing to work 30-40 hour and OT when needed.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Strong communication with proven skill at attention to detail.
- Ability to lift over 15 pounds and handle heavy equipment/machinery.
- Ability to understand, take and follow directions.
- Ability to read and effectively communicate.
- Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Experience:
- Warehouse experience: Minimum 1 year forklift operating experience
